Very functional and of good size for 5-8 year-old, but the material could be much better.

We've had this backpack for 3 years now, and it's held up very well and is still in great condition! First my son used it all throughout Kindergarten, then he upgraded to a larger backpack for 1st grade. Since then we've used it as a diaper bag for toddlers, and for snacks, water bottles, toys, etc. So beyond holding up for near-daily use at school the 1st year, it's also visited parks, homes, churches, the zoo, and beyond!

Exactly what I was expecting. Slightly big.. but no big deal since I was looking for something a little big. I like how it has the inner sleeve.. and outer pockets.. and mesh cup holders on both sides. I added pictures.. son it 3 1/2 years old.. about 39 1/2 inches tall and weighs about 35 lbs. It's for him to use for preschool when he turns 4... and his school seems to like backpacks with extra room for their light but big art projects. Fits his lunch box and folder and much more..

Perfect for kindergarten aged kiddos. Big enough to carry extra supplies into school or bring home projects at the end of the term. Still very lightweight and comfortable.

My son is 1.5 years into using this backpack for elementary school and it is holding up well. It is kind of plain and generic, but he didn't outgrow the design from one school year to the next.

Back to school gift for a child in need.

Sturdy and well made, my 5 yr old great grandson will start kindergarten in style. He loved it. I guess the only thing I would add to the design would be a waist strap. Perhaps the weight of the items in the bag will keep it from bouncing against his back.

This backpack is great quality. The padded back and straps make it comfortable for my child, though it is still a little bigger than I was expecting considering it is labeled as a "kid's backpack". The zippers move smoothly. My son loves it!
