My cats are both pretty heavy scratchers but the boy thinks the point of scratching is to destroy, so no scratching posts with twine or carpet lasts really long. The fact that he hasn't been able to destroy these is a testament they should flaunt on an infomercial. I got some 12x2 wood, cut to the length of these mats, and screwed the mats to them. So I have two of these scratching pads they can stand on top of and give it their all. I am making a third that I will screw to plywood and then to the wall so that they can get in a good stretch as well. The mat I got in 2022 looks the same as the newest one so durability is not a question. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A good wall mounted scratcher with replacable sisal *by J***B on March 27, 2025* Pretty happy with the scratcher. You do need to either be able to mount where there is a stud, or use wall anchors.We did get a wrong part with the initial shipment, but Natalie from 7 Ruby Road shipped out a replacement very quickly.
