What size battery for this product

The answers to this question had me order AA batteries but the light sabers just arrived and they take 3 AAA batteries and my kids are so sad!!!!

how to open the battery compartment?

It's on the side you have to unscrew the compartment

How do you change the batteries?

I think there are small phillips head screws that you can take off to get to the battery. Not all the way sure though, sorry..
