I’ve been using the eufy Security S230 SoloCam for a few about 6 months now, and I’m really impressed! Setup was incredibly simple — within minutes, it was up and running without the need for any complicated wiring or hub connections. The app is user-friendly and gives me peace of mind with instant alerts and clear live footage.The video quality is sharp, even at night thanks to the built-in night vision. I also love that it’s completely wire-free and solar-powered, so I don’t have to worry about charging or running cables. The motion detection works well and doesn’t send false alerts, which is a big plus compared to other cameras I’ve tried.Overall, it’s a solid, reliable security camera that gives me confidence my home is well-monitored. I was quite happy with the camera and image quality at first. 23 months in I noticed some blurring in the image. I cleaned the lens and contacted Eufy who were less than helpful.I took the camera down to thoroughly clean it and tried to dry it thoroughly with a hair dryer ( as I suspect rain ingress onto the lens). The camera image is so poor it will no longer scan the QR code to re-connect to Wi-fi. Eufy will do nothing apart from offer some vague promise of a discount on future purchases. Not happy that this product only last for just over 2 years and is now useless.

Great security camera. Four stars as I found it a bit tricky to set up, it kept going offline. Sorted eventually. So far, holding it's charge through solar power. Picture is really clear and night vision is good to. There is a light and alarm should you need to use it.

The media could not be loaded. Highly recommend this camera is easy install long life battery good video quality best of all no subscription there is also a home base that can be used for extra storage which has some good options to meet personal needs

Mounted this high on the wall overlooking the driveway and cars. Gives the ability to define zones to minimise false triggering of video from pedestrians and passing cars. Set it so lights come on at night. Great when we are away, notifies us of activity and we view with the app. Solar panel means I only charge once a year. It's a good detergent with the lights at night and the video quality is excellent.

It’s a good camera but not Apple Home compatible, which is staggering when Matter has been out for over two years.The solar charging is adequate and the camera resolution decent; just don’t expect to be able to read a car registration plate at 30 meters. Night vision is acceptable. Needs the Eufy Homebase, so this add-on camera is not the end of the expense!
