Many say the rotating light is too loud but the one I received is super quiet (can only hear something if you put your ear up to it). Also, some reviews say you can't have the light on without it rotating, but that is not the case. You can have the projection without rotation. You can also turn off the wing/bottom lights and have just the nightlight/projection, which is a nice option to have.

Superb item, my boy can’t sleep without it now! Lights can be changed from multi colour to static colour and the rotation feature is great.
