How do you secure this when using it inside?

You don't have to stake it on the ground if you place it inside because there is no wind. But make sure place it on a flat ground.

Where do the children go in from? Is there a door/ curtain in one of the sides or fo they climb up throught the slide?

My grandson just climbed up through the slide.

We have cats, does the motor get loud similar to a vacuum? I don't want them to think this a toy for them.

I don't think it sounds like a vacuum and I do not think your cats will want to play with this....the blower is away from the bouncy house....the air gets to the house thru a tube made of the same material has the house. I think you will be ok.

We purchased this in June 2019. The ‘off’ button does not work and we have to remove the plug to deflate. Can this be repaired?

hmm... just unplug the power cable. even off button work, I recommend always unplugged power for safe.
