So far, so good…
Showed up in great shape. Was double boxed and wrapped in plastic. Installation was fairly straight forward. (Take a pic of the wiring and snap it in place.) We have used it for a week or so and no troubles so far. If it quits, I will update. I just need to get through a couple years until we remodel…

So glad I found this item a genuine GE Part to replace the large burner......the wires were a bit (more then a bit) HARD to remove but it worked and instead of having to buy a new range I got instead a new burner......Thank you

With an extra hand, this is an easy replacement with a factory OEM part.
Depending upon the model you have, the only assistance you may need is holding the cooktop up or wrangling with the clips that hold this heating element in place. Aside from that, easy install and quality performing part from GE.

Works well. But...
Got this to replace our burner for our stove top and it fits great, works well and now we have a working burner. But what I've noticed is that this one heats up slower than our original. Not sure what that is. Also as I look at the heating elements this one seems to be sparser than the original as well. Not sure if other than heating up slower, there is any other side effects. But like I said. It works.
