PaceSetter 70-1324 Black Shorty Exhaust Header

Pacesetter has no quality control apparently. The header flange surface was warped and close to 1/16" gap in the center with a straight end. Then whoever welded the headers needs to go back to school and learn to weld. They had 1/4" + thick welds on the inside of the tube which would completely restrict exhaust flow. I spent two hours on the belt sander flattening out the flange and grinding out the weld so the pickup might actually run, just to find out that the flange on the header does not work with the factory exhaust flange I was going to reuse. Now I need to decide if I need to throw them in the dumpster and buy a quality set of headers or try and find a flange that will bolt up to them.

The product is good, but was nearly destroyed by stock exhaust flange. Was only able to save by spending $250 on a custom Y pipe.
