COVID-19 has us all looking for ways to keep in touch when we can't actually touch anyone. These beautiful postcards on heavy stock are perfect. They feature Black women of significant achievement. Each card teaches a lesson, but with a very light touch by just including the skinniest notation about the person's role and a quote. (I bet you won't resist some Wikipedia look-ups to learn more.)While I was attracted to this set to build pride in my bi-racial granddaughter, the cards are so lovely I'm using them widely for correspondence with my whole range of friends. (The attractive gift box includes two sets of 50, so a complete set will eventually find its way to my granddaughter one at a time over a year, but the other 50 are being used for my general communications.) You'll enjoy these lovely works of art and simultaneously honor women who have made great contributions in science, art, music, business, entertainment, education, justice, math, and politics. You don't need to be black to take pride and encouragement from these impressive women who happen to be black.

These were on my wishlist for over a year; this week, I finally decided to buy them for myself. I’m so glad I did, and also mad at myself that I didn’t buy these earlier! The artwork on these cards is gorgeous. Breathtaking. The card itself is printed on thick, good quality paper. I am so happy with this purchase. Please don’t hesitate if you are on the fence - they are 100% worth it!

Great quality postcards! From the gorgeous paintings on the front to the informative facts/quote on the back. Lovely box to keep the set in too!(My only critique, and this is just a personal preference, is there's no designated space for the address. Why would this be a problem? We use these as greetings cards my little one send to friends & family. They've often covered the entire card and left no room for for the address/stamp! But again that's just us, YMMV)
