Does what I needed
I really like having my giffin grip on a dedicated wheel, My old homemade electric wheel I was using died. I really didn't want to spend much as I will never throw on it. I thought I'd give this Chinese wheel a try. It is very small and needed the splash guard trimmed down an inch to clear the giffin grip, I also put it on 6 inch blocks to be at a decent level. But for less than the cost of a giffin grip, I have a wheel that so far, works great for trimming. Quiet, speed adjusts easy, very simple to unpack and set up.

Excellent performance
This pottery wheel is powerful enough, very silent and comfortable to use, but the best part is, it is very affordable! My only concern was its height. I found it to be too low compared to the european unit I used to operate. Curiously, most wheels on the market now are this low, not too comfortable for an adult. Luckily, I found someone who helped me solve it by replacing the four feet with four 8.5 inches iron legs. He cut the half off the long screws that came attached to the machine's feet and welded them to four pieces of iron pipes 8 inches long. Then added a rubber protection cap to its lower end, and it added the extra half inch. Now I can switch between the feet and the legs when necessary. Being 8.5 inches taller, it is now suitable for an adult, so I suggest the manufacturer to include a set of 4 legs to raise it for adults. (See pictures).

okay, gets the job done
this isn't a terrible wheel and i agree with the people that said that it gets the job done for smaller works. I'm a little disappointed by its functionality especially for the money i paid. it barely can stay in the same place and my clay often falls off the wheel easily. also the pedal is attached to the wheel and looks nothing like the pictures. i mean, its the best a person can do to avoid spending $1,000 on a professional wheel.

Great seller, happy with buy, for beginners
Great buy I'm a beginner and this is just fine for me. It's low but can be placed on a stand for height. I had an issue with the product and the seller was absolutely awesome with correcting the issue. I was very impressed. Thank you. Would recommend.

Already broken
I didn’t start to use this until roughly one month ago (sept) although I bought it in July. The first few times I used the wheel it worked great but after a couple uses it doesn’t matter how fast or slow I have the foot pedal it goes at the fastest speed.I tried trouble shooting and it just doesn’t work.

Great for the price
Good for hobby - small enough for storage but large enough to make what you want.
