These wool socks keep your legs very warm, and when combined with knee sleeves, there is no need for longjohns. They are, however, extremely tight, putting them on taking them off is quite a chore. I have very thin feet and skinny legs for a man. I would suggest, for any man who is average build, and certainly heavier, buying some other brand of socks, and not these.

These are high quality socks that are warm and massage your feet and legs where they need . I bought another brand because they were a lightening deal but they were very cheaply made. These are worth the few extra dollars!

I bought these before a ski/snowmobile trip. It's great to have warm feet. I completely forgot about having the typical discomfort which goes along with wearing rental ski boots.

Advertised for skiers and snowboarders. But these socks are great for winter wear. I’m thin and I get cold easily, so I love the warmth I get from them. They’re also good looking.

These socks were supposed to be "Warm & Soft—The ski socks for men and women are made from merino wool and acrylic, it is thermal and soft when wearing". Instead they are a wool, cotton and nylon blend, but there is no tag that tells you exactly what the percentage of each fiber. These socks are not as soft as others that really have a blend of acrylic. Cotton is not a warm fiber when you are cold so I don't think they will keep your feet as warm.They were shipped in a semi-transparent bag with just a ziplock closing that anyone could have opened and removed the socks.

Both me and my partner got bad blisters after just 1 session of skiing. Do not recommend them for skiing.
