Clear handle bit broke off almost immediately

I used this today with Windows 10 and have no complaints. It was recognized immediately and usable with no further inputs from me, right out of the package. I backed up about a dozen files and folders with no trouble, including several book-length WORD files with photos. When I opened a big file from the "USB Drive D" in the "This PC" window, it opened lightening fast. I am very satisfied today, but the "test of time" is what I have found is important. Will it still function equally well a year from now -- or two or three -- when I suddenly need those back-up files? This thing looks really "cool," since the entire body, other than the metal head, is clear! I have not seen that before in using a dozen different brands through the years as back-up or temporary storage. It even lit up(!) when I went through the "safe to remove hardware device" protocol, making it easier to find on the back of the CPU box. It comes in an overly large clear plastic case, with ample foam padding molded around it, BUT there is no way to protect this stick in a shirt pocket, since it is not the type that has a slide cover built in to itself. You have to use the original large case or protect it some other way.

Spent a lot of time ripping music onto this to send to a friend. Glows purple when in use. Pretty cool looking. However when plugged into a laptop or car stereo it says "file Corrupted". Popped in another plain ol thumb drive from Office Depot and it ripped/played just fine.

This is a good product. Works well and the price is reasonable. Shipping was very good.

Like most people I have been accumulating a LOT of wonderful memories on my computer, from pictures of my 16-year-old cats as kittens to tax returns to vacation pictures to ….whatever, and this is a great way to save all of those diverse files at a very reasonable price. I am hesitant to erase important papers and nostalgic souvenir pictures from my computer, so before I hit Delete I tested the flash drive by backing up the documents, then calling some of them up on the computer to be sure they had copied correctly and were still there. My 4 GB of files copied very quickly. I also removed the drive and reattached it twice and tested some of the files. Everything displayed properly. It works! It is nicely designed, too. I like that it lights up when connected to the computer.
