I handed the clips to my granddaughters 1 at a time, & i referred to them by the colors they were “going” to change to. Example, this 1 has a blue center but the leaves change to red in the sun. So i was like, “here’s a red one for you...” and they were like “gramma, this is blue”. And i said “oh thats right. The magic hides their TRUE color...which can only be revealed by the sun.” They all ran outside, & INSTANTLY, the red appeared. They were SOOOOO excited.

The are really cute. They are pretty inside or outside. The color when exposed to sunlight is so vivid, and very pretty even when not exposed to light. Bought as a filler gift but they were the hit of the party

Bought these to go along with a Moana costume, thought they would be a nice addition for an outdoor party in Texas (plenty of sunlight) however they never changed color. They stayed clear throughout the entire party on a clear sky day. Disappointed they didn’t turn red like I believed they would.
