Dehydrated grains take 10 days to rehydrate
No instructions from a small company that could take the time to print out a small helpful instruction sheet for their customers. These are dehydrated kefir grains which will take about 10 days to dehydrate before you can use them to make kefir water - this is not explained on the product info, and again a small company selling on Amazon should take the time to put in some simple product details. Info about dehydrating and making kefir water can be found on this companies website for anyone stuck.

Dead on arrival
I have successfully used hydrated Kefir grains for a long time. As i live abroad i thought this time it was a good idea to buy the dehydrated ones so they would survive a bit of a delay before being used. I followed the instructions as per the website address on packet. Nothing happened after 96 hours. I strained them & started again with fresh water & sugar. Still nothing. I can only think that either the instructions were wrong for dehydrated grains or they were dead. Most disappointing.

Well I don't know... nothing happened after 3 weeks had to throw it all down the drain. It's all a great idea and well packaged with clear instructions. Maybe worked for other people but I'm not going to try again.
