I still get RFI, but the sound is good after adding ferrite chokes.
Due to RFI issues, I hoped that these would be significantly quieter than my other cables. There *is* a difference, but on their own, the RFI is still pretty bad. Ferrite chokes get it pretty inaduble after running noise reduction. I do believe the shielding is higher quality than a very budget XLR; chokes didn't fix my cheaper cables, but they did fix these. They also seem pretty sturdy, so $33 for two is a pretty good deal.Just keep in mind that if you're having RFI issues to begin with, they might not eliminate it. I would also probably go with 4 feet instead of 3 next time, since I had to add two doubled loops to the cable to get good results with the chokes.
