Fortunately, the Columbia Boy’s Bugaboo II Fleece Interchange Jacket is the perfect multiple-use winter coat. This winter jacket is the classic three-in-one design. It features a waterproof and breathable outer shell and an inner fleece layer that can be worn separately or zipped together for extra protection against wet and cold weather. It has been made with advanced technology materials that are breathable, waterproof, and reflective. The jacket is seam-sealed to ensure a precise fit and longevity in holding up against harsh weather conditions and constant use. The waterproof outer shell forms a barrier to hard core elements and works with or without the inner fleece layer. The inner fleece layer incorporates our exclusive Omni-HEAT thermal-reflective system and can be worn separately or zipped into the outer shell. We have also included today’s convenient features, such as a pocket for media devices and goggles, two zippered hand pockets plus fleece lined pockets, adjustable cuffs, and an adjustable removable storm hood – for added versatility in evolving weather conditions. Designed with our OUTGROWN grow system, this jacket sizes up for multiple seasons of wear. Available in a wide range of colors and sizes for boys. Regular Fit. You can choose from several colors, including Boulder, Black, Mountain Red, Azul/Collegiate Navy, Dark Mountain, Burnished Amber, City Grey/Black/Nuclear, and Olive Green. To ensure the perfect fit, follow these steps for measuring and refer to the size chart. To determine the neck size, measure at the base or thickest part of your neck. For the sleeves, start at the center back of your neck and measure across the shoulder and down to the wrist. Round up to the next even number. For the chest, measure at the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits and over the shoulder blades, keeping the tape measure firm and level. To measure the waist correctly, measure around your natural waistline, allowing the tape measure to sit comfortably. For the hips, measure around the fullest part of your hips. And for the correct inseam, measure from the top of the interior leg to the bottom of the ankle.Imported. Shell: 100% nylon. Lining: 100% polyester Zippered closure. Machine Wash.

Just the right parka for our little boy
We bought this for a soon-to-be 5-year old son. We live where it gets cold and snow can come as early as November. Our son loves nothing but wearing shorts and t-shirts -- even in the cold weather. So it is always a struggle to put on a warm top and then a windbreaker or coat. This beautifully designed coat solves that problem with an integrated fleece top. It also serves as an excellent windbreaker. He loves it and it is a snap to put on. Great for the weather; great for the kid!

Pretty solid, works when when sledding on cold slow days
Spent about 5 hours sledding and tubing...held up very well.Must emphasize though that the insulation for this is based on activity. You must be moving. So it's brilliant when used while playing int he snow but if you are not active or standing around watching people play in the snow, this will not keep you warm.

We LOVE Columbia
I buy my son a new jacket every 2 years. It goes from big, to fits just right, to a bit short on the wrists.We love Columbia's jacket systems the best because he can take the lining out to wear for the cool but not cold days. He can use the shell over another jacket on wet days. He can take the hood off on the cold but dry days. This jacket is proving to be just as versatile and weather protective as his last Columbia jacket from 2016/17.PLUS, the colors and patterns are more 'grown up' which he likes as a mature nearly-9 year old.

Garbage
Paper thin, garbage.Basic cotton insulation.Some kind of thing tin foil liner.Size was not even close.Brushed against door, sleeve ripped.Tried outside 30 deg, froze.Basically a spring hoodie with a yuppy logo.Waste of money.It was returned.

Good-looking and warm! 13 year-old loves it!
My son loves this jacket! The shell seems very durable and the removable and wearable liner is very warm. The foil dots seem to work well. He says it is much warmer than his previous jackets. It looks good, hopefully we'll get another year out of it.

Good Value
Compares to high end jackets. Good value. Worked great for our ski trip in 20 deg f temps. Had long sleeve under layer and a short sleeve shirt under as well on really cold days. Fit my 7yr old 48 inch son.

Kids LOVE this jacket
We loved this jacket and the price. It was incredibly warm as well. My kids really like it for skiing and wearing outside in ND winters.

Great Jacket, Great Price
My 9 year old son wore this jacket while sking for a week in single digit temps at the end of January and never got cold. I've been buying Columbia for years and have never found anything to complain about. I still don't.

Stylish but thinner than expected
A little thinner than I expected but very stylish. With a sweater it would be ok for Canadian winters. Waterproof and fits well. I ordered a size bigger for my son so it would fit next year also. Nice fleece inner jacket.
