Do these protect ears from loud noises from other sources?(example, on an airplane on take off, where noise is 100db)

Our JBL Jr460NC's Active Noise Cancelling typically provide about 15-20 dB of noise reduction, which is most noticeable in the low-frequency range. It not completely block our the outside noise especially 100db airplane engine noise.

Our JBL 460NC is fine-tuned for kids’ ears and heads. There is no specific recommendation for minimum age but you can identify by its dimensions. It is made with the height of 3.6 in and width of 3 in.

I like these. Is there a similar version in an adult size?

As far as I can tell, JBL Tune 510BT: Wireless On-Ear Headphones with Purebass Sound - White is the closest JBL headphones that resembles the kid version. It does not offer noise cancelling and I have not tried them personally.
