This is a well constructed macro rail. It comes with a bag and an arca Swiss plate. The macro adjusts down to 25 microns (1.25mm per revolution and the fine adjustment knob has 50 grooves which you can move with precision and without ply) with the fine adjustment knob. The only con I experienced was the arca-swiss clamp knob was inclined one side. May be that is the design or it is not well lubricated. Once I mounted a camera and tightened it, it was all ok. Nothing to complain after that. However, I used white petroleum gelly to improve the lubrication of the arca-swiss clamp knob. This is a precision equipment and helps to do 5:1 magnifications with ease.

Very good design. It must be clamped for focus stacking. Cannot bring the slider to zero position/marking - handle obstruct.

I ordered it after lots of study about focus rails. It is as per expectations, sturdy and perfect movements.

Got this after watching some YouTube reviews. It's very smooth and precise. I like the two different end knobs. The small one and the large one. The large one has a crank for fast movement but it has a large diameter knob with very fine 1 micron markings that allows for minute changes that don't move the base. It's nicely packaged and when you hold it you can see a feel the quality. I had originally bought the longer 200s because it had the quick release button for quickly repositioning but I found that one had a wobble as you advanced the screw. The design is different because of the quick release it's a sort of half nut on the screw. I returned it and bought this one. This one the 180s has two points clamping the screw an holds the screw more securely. Bonus, is quite a bit less expensive. I put the saved towards less expensive Leofoto to use as a cross rail for less crucial lateral movement.

Ideale per fare macro di buona fattura, con ottimi materiali come tutti i prodotti NISI. Consente i micro movimenti nel senso della slitta ma è possibile anche gestire lievi movimenti laterali o anche in senso obliquo rispetto alla slitta del complesso fotocamera obiettivo. Ho montato una DSRL professionale con ottica macro e flash e la presa è ferma e salda. Adatta in ogni caso per supporto della fotocamera, la messa a fuoco con la micro slitta per rapporti 1:1 richiede tempo e pazienza come prevedibile quini utilizzabile a pieno su soggetti statici con pochissimo o niente vento. Il prezzo non è basso ma son soldi ben spesi rispetto a soluzioni + economiche che non servono a nulla.

Der Einstellschlitten macht einen wertigen Eindruck, ist präzise gefertigt, hat eine edle Oberflächenbehandlung erfahren und funktioniert gut. Für den Preis bekommt der Käufer einen hohen Gegenwert, das Teil braucht sich nicht vor den viel teureren Konkurrenzmodellen deutscher oder US-amerikanischer Produktion zu verstecken. Die Kurbel am hinteren Ende der Gewindestange ist zwar gewöhnungsbedürftig, erlaubt aber ein schnelles Vor- und Zurückfahren des Schlittens. Sie lässt sich erstaunlich leicht drehen. Ein Arretieren der gewünschten Schlittenposition ist trotzdem nicht erforderlich, der Schlitten hat kein Spiel und verschiebt sich auch bei Neigung, Berührung oder Druck nicht selbsttätig. Lediglich zwei kleine Kritikpunkte, die nicht zur Abwertung führen, seien angemerkt: 1. Die Feststellschraube für die Kupplung, an der eine Kamera oder ein Objektiv befestigt wird, könnte etwas leichtgängiger sein. Ein Tröpfchen Haushaltsöl konnte hier allerdings schnell Abhilfe schaffen. 2. Als sehr nette Zugabe empfinde ich die Drehbarkeit der Kamerakupplung. Damit kann die Kupplung allen Bedürfnissen angepasst werden, sie kann sowohl quer als auch längs zur Aufnahmerichtung ausgerichtet werden. Das erweist sich in der Praxis als sehr nützlich, denn manche Geräte erfordern eine quer eingelegte, andere eine längs eingelegte Anschlussplatte. Allerdings sollten die 90°-Positionen sauberer rasten und klarer definiert sein. Sie sind etwas zu schwammig ausgelegt. Eine klare Kaufempfehlung! Nachtrag: Auch nach mehrmonatigem intensiven Gebrauch in der Makrofotografie bleibt der gute Eindruck. Es ist jedoch erforderlich, die Gewindestange ab und zu mit ein wenig Siliconspray zu schmieren, um die Leichtgängigkeit zu erhalten.
