Well let me start off by saying we have a 7 year old autistic little boy who not only suffers from sensory disorder, and is completely non verbal but is also super hyper-active and suffers from a major sleep disorder. If you are parents or a parent raiding an autistic child similar to ours I highly recommend this product. It sure beats swinging our little guy on the outside swing at 1,2 or 4am. Not only does he enjoy this swing as an activity, but it is also very helpful in calming him dowm when he is having a melt down as well as him being able to cocoon himself inside with a blanket and pillow while being pushed aids in getting him calmed down for bed time instead of increasing his stimulation and adding to his insomnia at night. It is very easy to assemble and install, even though it comes with everything you need to install it I replaced the stock hanger and clevis with a higher weight rating. But that is just a personal prefference due to our sons rough and tumble ways. He is very hard on everthing. We have been using the swing for 3 weeks now and other than it needing to be tossed into the washer for a good cleaning which is very easy to do, it has held up to anything he can through at it. The only reason I gave them a 4 star instead of a 5 star rating is because it was supposed to come complete with a book on Austim sensory aids, and did not. Other than that we highly recommend this product Update, Product has been in use for about 2 weeks our little guy is getting a whole lot of use and enjoyment from it. Changed my star rating from 4 to 5 because the company was more than prompt at resolving our minor issue about the ASD book which I didn't understand is a digital download, not only did the respond promptly but were very appreciative of the purchase, rewiew, our input and are sensitive to the needs and situations that the parents, children as well as the special needs child faces. Thanks again for the support and making a product that truly helps us parents do a better job at raising their special little guys!!

My 4yo is currently being assessed but has difficulty regulating. This swing has been amazing. It is set up in the basement and whenever he needs a break or time out he will go down and use this swing to help with regulation. He will use it on his own but also loves using it with us as we can get him swinging or spinning better. My younger son also enjoys it as well as his neurotypical cousins. Children are smaller (under 50lbs) and have not had it for too long but the quality and structure seems to be very high. The boys can really get going and doesn’t seem to have any negative affect on the swing. Comfort is good however I really recommend not inflating the pillow too much.

We have been searching for this since we found through autism, and sensory disorder groups that these swing chairs really help children with these needs. We bought a single 250lb single-hook with 4ft of chain so we could hang this from a joist in our grandsons bedroom. Make sure to inflate the seat as much as possible, and if they are younger (he is 2), put towels or blankets around the edges of the inflated swing seat so they don't fall back into the swing so much. When he is frustrated or upset he will climb in and calm down. He also loves swinging and this satisfies the "indoor" swinging requirement since we can't be outside all of the time. Make sure to get enough chain so you can hang it low enough to the floor that they can learn to climb in by themselves; then as they get taller and older you can raise it higher. I highly recommend this product for its build-quality and sturdiness. I have no doubt this swing will last a long time. I also found the $80 price tag affordable compared to other models at much higher prices. Make sure to use the pump with your foot... using your hand... well that's just slow and not smart. Lastly - buy/use a hook/chain system you are comfortable with having in your ceiling, you don't need to use the plate that comes with it. Just make sure that whatever you buy has a load weight greater than the load weight of the swing so you don't risk it falling. Finding the ceiling stud/joist can be challenging with a stud-finder if you have popcorn/unflat ceilings... but stick with it, it will work eventually.

I purchased 2 of these swings 2 years ago for my twin granddaughters with special needs. They and my other young grandkids have used them regularly over this period. They are attached to the basement rafters and have had no concerns with the safety of this product. The swings themselves are well constructed and have no tears nor seams apart. Please note that the air pillow was the only disappointing feature. I ordered a pillow insert for each of the swings and they have been great. (26” round pillow insert) Good sensory toy and have been put to the test!

Kids love the swing. It's very sturdy with the roof attachment . Unfortunately the plastic pillow at the bottom spring a slow leak 3 months into using it. I'm searching for alternatives to replace the pillow.
