Absolutely fantastic tool kit for any gardener! I personally am a greenhouse worker and I had three of these tools from a previous kit I had purchased. I wanted to have a back up set and found this kit. The smaller shovels are perfect for easily removing plants from small plugs. The pruners are sharp right out of the kit and maintain sharpness which is amazing (I also own a sharpener which with the work I do I usually have to sharpen my pruning scissors once a week haven’t had to use the scissors enough but seem very similar to Fiskers quality IYKYK). I do bonsai as a hobby at home and am very impressed with the wire that came with it, some of the wire will be used for tying up plants to stakes as I am not too sure they will be good for maintaining the position of the branch for a long enough period of time but honestly who cares if I can still use it in my garden. The case is NOT a cheap case either! This impressed me the most, don’t know why but I was not expecting the case to be this well designed and stable looking but glad I was surprised with this as it is easier for me to set on my work station and open to what I need instead of shuffling through my large tote bag looking for the small tools. I 100% recommend this to any gardener who wants a more organized space and is in need of these tools. 10/10 (even coworkers are asking where to buy this!!)

This set is huge!! I was not expecting the size of the set itself.The tools looked in great shape, and everything that was described to be there was there.The included cleaning mat is going to be a god send. It’ll be used for more than my bonsai.I believe you get more than you paid for. It’s so many tools. It’s worth the price!The tools I tried were easy to use, sharp where appropriate, and worked as expected!

I'd previously written a more negative review, however it really isn't a horrible set. Many of the tools were clearly produced at low cost but they simply function and don't feel too horrible. There are various different tool designs to aquiant one with what they may or may not need from a higher priced set. The potting mat is a decent quality bonus if you find use for it. Most dissapointment for me came from the redundant and unnecessary rolls of twist tie wire that I had anticipated to be more rigid, though I easily amended that with a trip to the hardware store. Good to gain experience and spare tools, but I might not gift it outside that premise.

Great quality, arrived in great shape, and I especially like the binder. This will be of great help to me as I travel the Bonsai road.

A very nice starter set for the beginner bonsai’r. This and a nice bonsai* would make a great gift.* Be sure to get a bonsai that is appropriate for your area.

It contained many specialized tools and instructions for ways to trim and tie branches. It comes with so much equipment It will be sometime before you need sharpness. Easy to clean. Value for money

I feel like a doctor with this thing. I use it constantly and I love it so much. The tools are high quality!
