High quality, well worth it!
So at one point I played TeamFortress 2 (yes I am a gamer) and one of the characters the "Spy" carries this weapon. I was curious, so I looked it up and it looked even better thandle I had imagined. Eventually I had the wonderful joy of going to Stan Lee's Comicon (formerly known as comicazi) and I saw one for sale. I decided to buy it, but it broke within the first day. If you ever see one of those Balisongs with the colored handle, it is likely that you will have a similar experience. But this Balisong has provided a much more satisfactory experience. I was rather surprised at the weight of the object. I now come to realize that this has to do with the high quality of the metal. This thing will take much abuse and the inevitable dropping that comes with getting a balisong. At first, it is extremely stiff and you cannot flip it properly, although holding one handle and moving the other back and foreward will help it, and likely WD40. Something that people have complained about in the past is the screws loosening. I have flipped this knife for hours, and they have not come out. As you likely know, this is a trainer, and the blade is not sharp. Also it comes with a nice case for it.

Very Cool/Seems to hold up - Edit....
I’ve only had this for three days, but for the price, this is a fantastic trainer and fun. Admittedly, my only experience with Balisong knives is the small one my father gave me and said “don’t take this out of the house”, as it was legal to own, but not carry on Texas. Unfortunately he didn’t live to see the ban on carrying pretty much any blade you can imagine anywhere is perfectly legal. That’s the reason I bought this. It’s not only fun, but preparing me for a nice live-blade butterfly at some point. For a very small amount of money to part with. Anyway, I use this thing like all day every day when at home and it feels very nice when flipped. Get one. Trust me. Well worth it. *Edit start: I just realized this was supposed to come with two free ebooks. It did not. I was looking forward to those as I have no idea what I’m doing.*

Fantastic Knife. Get it while you can.
I ordered this knife a few days ago and it came earlier than expected, which is always a plus. It came in neat packaging, especially the box containing the knife itself, which is a huge bonus, considering the fact that many practice balisongs are shipped in damaged ripoff boxes from Benchmade. The knife came with a nice sheath, and the knife itself was a beauty. Amazing balance, great weight, perfect for flipping. If you came from a thinner trainer like I did, there is a bit of a learning curve, but nothing you can't overcome in a few hours. The only tiny problem I've experienced with this knife is that the latch may come loose after a certain period of time, as would happen with any trainer under 30 dollars. You can place a rubber O ring on the end of it and problem solved. Overall, a great knife worth every penny.*EDITSo I constantly used this knife, and at first, it held up great. But after 4 weeks of about an hour of flipping per day, my latch snapped off completely. I thought, "No problem, not really a need for a latch." But it made me a bit curious about the material. After closer inspection, my knife had these little scratches, which didn't bother me, until I realized these were hairline cracks. Turns out, the material was a bit brittle, and I now have a giant crack along the top of my handle, and it's nearly falling off. Was good while it lasted.

By the time these are worn out, you'll be confident enough to wield a sharp butterfly knife!
The pair of silver and black butterfly practice knives are confidence building! They build my confidence in the manufacturer and seller. Great product. Perfect material for its purpose.Their engineering is thoughtful. The operation of the clasp, and the handle stops is intuitive and predictable. It appears that the design accounts for the eventual inevitable wearing of the handle stopping studs below the hinge insertion in the blade. The pair of knives builds my confidence to equip a "live" butterfly knife blade. The blades are slightly different in construction and weight. It's better to have broader exposure to the tool, to help you determine your preferences. My two children went halvesies on the purchase. They're both pleased, and they are happy with the difference between the knives; one isn't distinctly "nicer," or "cooler," than the other.

Very nice trainer!
Ive never even held one of these before so I have no frame of reference for quality or usability but Im amazed at the build and construction of this Butterfly Knife Trainer. I have no idea how they can make such a nice piece of equipment for this price. I've been watching Youtube videos to learn what little I have learned and I'm very grateful that Im using a trainer instead of a knife for learning and practicing. The operation is smooth, fast, quiet, and extremely solid feeling. The speed can get away from me and smack me on the knuckles hard enough to make me say a bad word. "Flipping" looks so easy when you see someone experienced doing it, but it's not. I'm doing this for stroke rehab, trying to get my hand dexterity back, and it's fun and looks cool, and my dexterity is coming back. The finish is very nice and smooth, I've dropped it umpteen times and no chips anywhere. After many, many hours I have no abrasions on my fingers because the finish is so smooth, but I have plenty of bruises on my knuckles. My Grand Daughter thinks it looks pretty cool and keeps taking it from me.
