Instead of bending over to a lower cabinet, NOW, each time I need a pan I just reach up! And the rack frees up several lower cabinets for other use. The quality was better than I expected so I am delighted.

The wood and metal combination are an eye catching addition to my kitchen--of course the new stainless steel pot set that I bought at Costco helps. You cannot have a beautiful kitchen rack and your ratty old whatever pots. The only thing that I didn't like is that it does not come with any lid hangers which you need unless you are really tall and can reach them on the top of the rack. When you order them separately from the company they really kill you with the handling and shipping charges, so order them with the rack.

Around the outside edge are double boards and any pots hung on hooksbu the double bosrds are well supported. I recommend you hand the heavy pots there. The inner slotted boards are supported by four metal brackets on the sides and from above by screws into cross pieces. If you lose a single screw you could potentially have a board bend, lose half of a hook's support and have a pan come crashing down. A simple solution I did was I glued the inner boards to the cross pieces so there is no play or movement possible and the screws are locked solid in place. I still keep my heavier pots on the sides.

We have a small kitchen so this is great for saving space. Good quality and looks great too.

I installed this at work and have one at home. I like this product! It adds to any kitchen in my opinion. Ceiling assembly is harder than one may think. If you are hanging heavy pots and pans use a ceiling joist.

Our family loves the Ceiling Kitchen Rack, it holds all our pans and covers, we put our wok and flat pans on top, makes getting the pans easier and we don't damage them by stacking. Best investment we made.
