Right measure
I needed at least 9mm. The item got to 9mm if you use the silicone cover that comes with it. It barely fit my need, so I was lucky. It is sturdy enough to hold my books.

Work well
I was having a problem with straight pins supporting the shelves of a custom-built bookshelf. The medical books got too heavy and caused the shelves to fall. These pins solved the problem by being well-built and not putting the same bending stress on the pins.

So glad to find these!
My china cabinet came with plastic shelf supports 30 years ago. Last month I heard two loud booms only to find the plastic supports had snapped and previous to me pieces of antique china were all over the floor shattered into hundreds of pieces. It will cost a fortune to have them repaired. While waiting, I found these super strong bronze supports. Thank you so much for making them available.
