I bough this skirt to compete in for American Rhythm and International Latin styles at the collegiate level, it works a treat. Wonderful skirt with built in shorts. It fits really nicely, I have about 40" hips and 27" waist, 5' 7" 135 lbs. I like not having to worry about wearing a separate pair of dance shorts underneath it. The shape is lovely, not super extreme, and very flattering on my body type. I think it elongates the legs visually. The fringe moves well, it really accentuates hip motion. The fabric is thick, high quality, and feels nice. The construction is good too. The one thing I changed was gluing on my own rhinestones for extra sparkles. It's the one thing that takes a good product to an excellent one.
