These reviews are so unfair! Immi is GREAT
I've been ordering Immi for a long time and it's excellent. I've always bought directly from the company before only recently purchasing on Amazon for the first time, and was shocked to see all the one-star reviews. Reading through a few, what I am noticing is that people who "hate" Immi ramen are being unfair and unrealistic given what the product actually is. They're literally in some cases comparing with homemade ramen, or ramen you might get in a restaurant. This is dried in a package and you literally just add water. It's *obviously* not going to taste like ramen from a restaurant. Further, it's entirely vegan *and* healthy to boot. Therefore, no, it's going going to taste like stock you made by boiling a steak, and no, it's not going to taste like 80% of your day's saturated fat. It's going to taste exceptionally good for being an extremely healthy food that is entirely plant-based. I've tried all the flavors, and enjoy them all, although I tend to find the "chicken" and "beef" flavors to be the best. Recently bought their dried add-ins and they make it even better. If you're vegetarian or vegan and looking for a quick, easy, and very healthy option--and your expectations are reasonable--you may love Immi as I do. TIP: If you like stronger flavors, simply reduce the water content. It says to use 2 cups of water, but I never do. I use about 1.5 cups, and to me that makes the flavor perfect.

Disappointingly Disgusting
The ultimate yuck! I was thrilled to stumble upon an ad for this brand, as my husband and I have been looking for healthier quick options to have at home--but especially as an asian woman myself, I wanted to give this company my business. Although the product arrived promptly, well packaged, and as described, the ramen itself was downright disgusting. I'll break down the experience my husband and I shared. Preparation: Easy to prepare, typical packaged, at home ramen. My husband and I used a stove top to prepare the noodles as directed on the packet. Flavor: What I imagine cardboard would taste like. No chicken, salt, or authentic taste whatsoever, just bland water. The smell of the ramen itself is telling of how it tastes, which to us, was an off putting scent, almost reminiscent of body odor, quite frankly. Noodle texture: Chalky. Not sure of what other word is as accurate to use but these noodles are dense and feel like they're made from unmixed ingredients, rather than feeling smooth. My husband notes that the noodles are the worst part of the ramen, that while the broth isn't great, the noodles just make it that much more inedible. Other notes: While there is less sodium, the saturated fat content is notably higher (9g, 45% daily value) compared to a cheaper brand, ie, Top Ramen (7g, 33% daily value). Although the numbers aren't extreme, they're worth considering, as Immi prides itself on being an all-around healthier option. Conclusion: We couldn't even finish the chicken ramen and my husband and I are debating tossing the rest of our variety pack because of how negative our experience was, seriously, this was revolting ramen. However, considering how overpriced they are, we're torn, and are considering at least trying the two other flavors (beef and shrimp) and if we do, will update accordingly. Update: We desired, for our own well being to not try the other two flavors and tossed them in the trash.

Protein rich and delicious
I’m on a low-carb diet, but I’m also half-Asian and not being able to have noodles or rice has been really hard. These noodles take a little bit longer to cook than your typical instant ramen and while they don’t taste exactly the same, the texture and flavor is very close to the real thing. The dry noodles don’t really have a noticeable smell and the amount of noodles you get in a packet is comparable to most instant ramen brands. My favorite is Tom Yum - I usually only use half of the seasoning packet to reduce the sodium, but I add other things to enhance the flavor, like chili garlic crisp, green onions, and shrimp (or whatever protein I’m feeling). For the broth, I combine chicken stock, coconut milk, coconut aminos, a little bit of fish sauce, plus fresh ground pepper and monk fruit sweetener to finish. Once the broth is boiling, I add the noodles, reduce the heat to medium, and cook for 9 minutes - I’ve found this results in the perfect al dente texture. I love being able to have noodles again and these are super filling and satisfying - perfect for lunch when I’m working from home or for a quick dinner when I don’t want to make a huge meal. Due to the cost, I only purchase a pack of 6 once a month as subscription - this way I get a discount. I know they are expensive, but they’re a small company and this is a specialty product. I would say if you’re not on a particular diet, just get regular instant noodles. Don’t get me wrong, these are really good for being low-carb, but nothing beats the real thing!

Wrong order/ tasty noodles
They accidentally sent the black garlic ramen but I like them a lot so I'm keeping them even though they made a mistake. Noodles taste very good, have a nice texture and the broth is nice and tasty. It feels better on the stomach than cheap Ramen.

Boil then fry, best way to eat them. Don't bother with the flavor packets though, unless you really really want clean ingredients
