I have tried horsing these tops down with a small plier and they still come loose. When I can get the top to stay in the place, the little "pop top" pops open and sanitizes my junk.If you keep these bottle on a desk top or in a drawer, they should be fine. I do use them for pure maple syrup so I don't over indulge in extra calories with my high protein pancakes (weightlifter) and sitting in the fridge filled with maple syrup undisturbed, they work well.If you plan to travel with these in a carry on bag, put them in a plastic bag. Or get the version with a solid, fixed screw on cap or the small spout top that you pop open with your finger. Hard to give them more than 2 stars based on my experience with them.
