Brilliantly Fascinating! Amazing Story & Audible Listen🎧
All or NothingThe Chosen One Book One: An MM Paranormal Fantasy SeriesBy: Macy BlakeNarrated by: Michael DeanSeries: The Chosen One, Book 1Macy Blake continues to wow me with another amazing novel set in her “Chosen One” series, I fell in love with this fascinating world she created in “Sweet Nothings”, the prequel to the series, if you haven’t read or listened to it yet I highly recommend you do, it is a brilliant story and it gives you the back story to one of the lead characters of this book. That said, if you have not gotten to it yet, no worries, everything you need to know is in the descriptive details and it will not feel like anything is missing. This book starts with meeting Sawyer Smith and his best friend Draco, Sawyer is just about finished with graduate school and getting ready for the next phase of his life and he could never imagine the direction his life turns after his new neighbors, the ones who built a huge house he and Draco dubbed a McMansion, came in to their life. Draco has been hiding something from Sawyer, a big something that he is a dragon shifter and part of a world Sawyer knows nothing about. When they go to meet the new neighbors, Draco knew they were members of his world, a supernatural and paranormal world and so did they. Happy go lucky Henry welcomes them with open arms, but his two guardians are not as welcoming though. Henry is a magical being and a seer, which is rare in their world and makes him target to those of his world, so he has two guardians looking out for him, Eduard and Andvari, each from another part of the paranormal world and each having their own unique supernatural power. This book lays the foundation for the rest of the series and what is to come, the world building and character development is absolutely phenomenal and will continue throughout the series. We learn more about the guardians and the chosen one, whose identity is revealed. Macy Blake created something very special here, and I enjoyed every minute and every word of this book, it is a brilliantly plotted story that has a perfect balance of drama, humorous and witty dialogue to lighten up the heavier moments, some mystery, action, thrilling and suspenseful moments, some heartfelt emotions and a smoking hot romance, harem style. Macy Blake, thank you for another wonderfully entertaining story.🎧📚🎧 And for the wonderful narration, Michael Dean continues to deliver an outstanding performance, bringing these characters and their story to life. He has a complete understanding of the characters he portrays, giving each a voice that suits that character’s persona and is believable in every role he played. He set the perfect tone for the story, captures all the characters’ emotions and projects them into his performance and had you feeling every single one. Dean is an entertaining storyteller and a versatile voice artist, his narration enhances an already brilliant story to another level. Thank you for another amazing listen, it is always a pleasure to listen to your work.

Nice start
This was a great start to a new world and a new series. I liked all of the different characters, and I loved how they all matched well together and all the different roles that they play. Now I’m not sure how four more guardians are to play into all this but I guess it’ll work. The writing was good. The smexy time was hawt and there was a lot of it and there’s way more people to meet.

Awesome first book but heavy on sex
I love the world building and all the characters are unique with their own voice. This is important because the book is told through multiple POV aas each character has his own chapter. I deducted one star because of the chapters full of sex instead of getting to know the characters. I read Sweet Nothing because I have to read books in order and it was billed as a prequel. A big deal was made about Henry being lactose intolerant but the first time Draco is "courting" him, he gives Henry cheese. The prequel might have been written after the first story, but if so, if Ms Blake wanted to keep Henry lactose intolerant, it would been an easy thing to change in an update...give Henry a strawberry and Sawyer the cheese.

So Good!
All or Nothing is the first book in the Chosen zone series. There is a prequel novel, Sweet Nothings, and two short stories (which can be found in the ebook series bundle) but you don’t need to read those first to enjoy and understand All or Nothing.Sweet, intense, and incredibly sexy, All for Nothing was a great start to an addicting series. The book starts off with a humorous scene before immediately jumping into some serious world building and plot. Plus lots of sexy men. I love how fluid and natural the poly relationship begins and develops. This also leads to some hot and sizzling scenes. The book doesn’t end on a cliffhanger but the overall series plot has only just started, and I’m so here for it. I thought the ending was nicely done. It was a good stopping point but it left me ready to jump into book 2 immediately. The audiobook is narrated by Michael Dean who does a fabulous job. Michael voices a lot of different main characters and manages to make them all distinct. I loved his performance. The audiobook production was also well done and made for a great listen.

Really good start to the series.
Really good start to the series. Sawyer and Draco - neighbours, good friends, but both are hiding secrets. Sawyer is attracted to Draco, but doesn't want to break their friendship and Draco is hiding his true self. When new neighbours move into a newly built mansion nearby, things change and a whole new world opens up. Sawyer is drawn to the occupants and finds out that he is not just an ordinary guy. Great world-building, lots of action, humour and multiple pairings as the Chosen One gets to know his mates better! As always, Michael Dean does a great job with the narration, especially the steamy bits (of which there are quite a few). A very good way to enjoy the story and the whole series.

Sexapalooza!!!
Gathering the guardians for the chosen one. In the prequel we meet Henry, after he's rescued by alpha Vaughn and human Sam. At the end of the prequel we also meet the first two guardians, Eduard and Andvari. In this book we meet a new guardian, find out the identity of the chosen one and the foretelling of a new guardian. In this book we meet Sawyer, the human, also a null and Draco, one of the guardians. The guardians to date:Henry, the mage and seerEduard, the griffinAndvari, the vampireDraco, the dragonThis book was a sexapalooza compared to the prequel which barely had any sexy times. It was a bit of a shock and a bit much at times, but I'm invested now... on to the next installment!!!

Where will this go next? (an audio review)
I came into this series blind – knowing nothing. The prequel took me through quite a ride, but I thought I knew who the main characters were going to be. I was wrong. This book begins with Sawyer. He hangs out with his best friend Draco as they’ve watched a mansion being built across the street. They’re curious enough to take over a housewarming present.Sawyer’s world tilts. He meets Andvari, Eduard, and Henry. Oh yeah, THAT Henry. I was thrilled to see him back.Soon Sawyer discovers the men’s secrets. Henry is a mage, Andvari is a vampire, Eduard is a griffin and, oh, yeah, his best friend is a dragon shifter. Sawyer eventually learns to deal with this, even as his attraction towards each man grows. To be clear, this is a menage/harem book. And I loved it.But The Chosen One has eight guardians and we’ve only met four. Guess I’ll have to keep going in the series to find out what happens next.Michael Dean narrates the series and I adore him, so I think he’s a great choice. Off to Book 2.

IM IN LOVE
Look...I-I really liked this book. It was enlightning in a way because I never read something with so many people in a relationship. It was refreshing seeing all the five characters loving each other so deeply, not being only sexual but also with lots of intense feelings between them. They all balance each other and have a bond that made sense in the book. The plot is thickening, and things are not looking good for our chosen one because well, how he is supposed to save everyone while being powerless. (view spoiler) is very frustrated about this but there is a reason he is the chosen one and he will prove himself. Can't wait to read the next one because I want to see more of this incredible world!PS: there's a lot , like A LOT, of spicy scenes so just know that this book is 50% RAWR and 50% plot.

Great start to the series
What a start to the series! At first I wasn't sure about the dynamic between Sawyer and the Guardians (in that they have relations with him and each other, so not really a harem but a big group experience), but you know what? It worked! The author has done a marvelous job of creating the characters and they were all so different and complex. The world building was equally delightful, and I didn't feel anything was lacking in that area. The storyline was intriguing and I found myself carried along for an amazing journey. I love the way it's all coming together and can't wait for more in the series.
