It's the best self sifting one out there. No motors to break down or clog up. Just a handle. I keep the top unlocked as it sticks when locked, but the cover is pretty sturdy. Only draw back is if the sifting plate hinges aren't placed back correctly after completely changing out the liter on top part, liter goes under the bag.
