It's very bright! Has very nice colors and the speaker on it isn't too bad. I think it was a pretty good purchase! I just didn't like that I can't use it unless it's plugged into a charging cord.

Nightlight

The sounds are 6-second clips that are repeated over and over. If it was a simple ocean wave, or static, or rustling trees it might be ok, but the ocean sound has 6 distinct seagull chirps in a particular order which, when repeated every few seconds is incredibly noticeable and not at all relaxing.Might be ok for a baby trying to sleep, the lullabies are ok but the ocean sound - the reason we bought this - is unusable. I will be searching for a better white noise device as this one doesn't suit us.

My son is 5 and has recently developed a crippling fear of the dark. My husband and I have tried night lights, leaving the hall light on, and when all else failed letting him sleep with us in a desperate attempt to soothe him... but nothing worked. He is a highly independent little boy and resented having to stay in our room "like a baby". And we weren't getting any sleep with him constantly waking in the night.Then we found this product. The remote is simple enough that he figured out how to use it without much help, and the lights are soothing and beautiful on the ceiling over his bed. He loves the lullaby song and the ocean sounds in particular. The timer feature set to 2 hours has been perfect, allowing him to fall deeply asleep before the unit turns off. If he wakes in the night and feels scared, he can easily turn the light on and soothe himself back to sleep. He reports that it makes him feel very brave and proud to face his fears by himself. He has even started trying to make it through the night without turning the light on after the timer has gone off. He's sleeping much better now and so are we.

I love this projector. I did notice the red is not that powerful in terms of brightness when it compared to the blue & green lights. It could just be my unit. The blue light by itself is awe inspiring. It really feels like you're sitting on a shallow ocean flow and watching the waves move above you when in reality I'm lying in bed and staring at the ceiling. Not a big fan of the last mode, the flashy-party mode it goes too fast in my opinion. Everytime you boot it up sleep sounds will play. This is OK, but I wish it silent upon startup by default. This product still earns a five stars from me, great addition to my room!

I bought this for my daughter, she falls asleep faster than before this lamp has a variable of tones of music and the colors that are projecting on the ceiling and walls, they are so soothing, great as a night light.

First one came broken second one broke a few days after coming. It still projects light But makes an awful sound. The motor makes a good bit of noise when it is on rotation. I think it might be worth shelling out a few extra dollars for a nicer one.

My daughter loves it and all the changes in colors & scene changes.
