Those straps that have only one or two rings can't compare to options on this unit... You can fine tune as many different lengths as you need to match the particular exercise (i.e. on especially the cable crossover machine...). The strap is sturdy / strong webbing and the aluminum handle gives an extra strong feel to your grip even if hands are a little sweaty... At $16 per handle (let's say...) when on sale... it Is a reasonable price to pay for all the features you get and potential 2-3 yr life span (with medium to heavy use: loads you are pulling on each rep /set)... Pay less, get less : Pay more, get more ... You know the drill...

These are well made compared to the ones that I received with the unit I just purchased and the ones I had. I did some research on these and these seem to be the best ones for the money out there. Once I received them I could tell these are the real deal. The metal handles make it so they don't crunch up like the plastic handle ones do. The material used on the webbing is really nice and having all those D-rings is nice because you can make an adjustment on the fly when you adjust height of the cable machine. Grip size is good for people with big hands and stays secure in your hand as you do your reps. Sweat does not make them slipper either. It reads 220 lbs but I have not tested that high yet, hit 150 lbs without an issue.
