I am surprised at the number of reviews (international) praising the sound through these ear pads. On my SR60x not only did these thicker, bigger pads recess the sound, but also spoilt the openness and sparkliness that Grados are known for. Forget the twinkling highs once you put these pads instead of the stock pads. Even the bass gets boomy, and inflated in a less musical way. In fact the bass loses its definition and also rides over the mids. So, if you want to buy these and put on your Grados for added comfort, please do. These thicker pads are far easier on your earlobes. Though I suspect the thickness would also heat up on longer listening (I didn’t listen with them on beyond a few tracks due to the sound deterioration I experienced above). But I wouldn’t recommend these expecting an improvement in sound. The Grado designers know the best, after all.

Ich habe die Polster an einem Grado SR 80 installiert. Sie sitzen nicht besonders fest, das stört mich aber nicht. Klanglich heben sie den Hörer merklich an - offener, stabileren Hochton, Bass ein wenig knurriger. Sitzen angenehm weich auf den Ohren. Für diesen bescheidenen Betrag: Kaufen! Mein anderer Kopfhörer ist ein Grado GS 2000, ich habe also durchaus Vergleichsmöglichkeiten.

Much better comfort. Now I can use them all day without irritation.

Excelente fit para los Grado, pero no recomendables en el SR80X.

GW100のノーマルパッドは柔らかく耳全体に圧がかかるため長時間使用すると痛くなります。 このパッドは固めですがアラウンドイヤーのような装着感になり快適になりました。 加工精度は他の方のレビューにもある通りあまり良くはないですが付けてしまえば分かりません。 音質に関しても劇的に変わる事もないですし純正の価格に比べればコスパ最高だと思います。 たかがスポンジに1万はありえないですよね。 ちなみに出荷元Amazonのほうが送料無料でお安いです。
