Left to Murder (An Adele Sharp Mystery—Book Five)

Adele Sharp is definitely the investigator, and her expertise is definitely needed because the murders take place in Germany, France and USA in California. The murderer suspect is draining his victims of their blood. Adele and John, her partner who is an Agent in Paris and her friend. Adele is the liaisonfor Interpol because she was raised in Paris and her father lives in Germany, and she was living in the USA before they offered her the job. She and her partner Agent John have a love hate relationship and this suspect has them chasing one bad lead after another. But we know eventually because Adele never gives up, she and her partner find out who is murdering these people. It is a good book. I am a Blake Pierce fan and so Adele is one of my favorite series. I love Jessie Hunt and have several others I have read because Blake knows how to write a good mystery, or suspense thriller. Read an Adele Sharp Mystery and see if you will love it as much as I do.

At the same time, Adele works in the cases given to her by DGSI, she keeps on looking for clues to find her mother's killer, and in this book, she seems to be getting nearer to the culprit. Will she be able to find him? Her cases make her travel through Europe and she ends up in the United States following the killer. She has a moment of intimacy with her French partner, John, although both have already been warned by their boss that they should not pursue any kind of relationship out of work. Will they be able to be only friends and professional partners? Looking forward to reading the next book in the series!

While I am angry regarding Robert’s health, sad is more likely, I’m in love with these characters. The way the relationship has played out between Adele and John has been immensely satisfying. Can’t wait for the next book.

They kissed; not x-rated, over the top or distasteful. Caught the bad guy, found more pieces to the underlying puzzle and all while navigating through personal struggles. I must read on...

The serial killer is this book is extremely different and interesting. I love how the books have an ongoing mystery. Can’t wait to read book 6!

AMAZING book! Very twisted killer that to a psychological mind was fascinating and very grotesque. I loved how the story unfolded. Once again I couldn’t put this book down. The clues were scarce but Adele and of course the charming and abrasive John follow adamantly until the pieces fall into place! I cried. It takes a lot for me to cry with a book but this one got me at the end. I highly recommend ALL the Adele sharp books so you get to know all the amazing characters in the books.

I really enjoyed this book. I am saddened by Roberts’ illness, however it has been a long time coming and I actually feel good at getting some resolution regarding that. I am also enjoying the slow progression of Adele & John’s relationship. This was a great read with a very bizarre crime being the plot.

I love this series of books, there always a good read, once I pick them up I can't put them down.
