Unfortunately, the two fittings were packaged in the same bag with out any proctection. Thus causing the pieces to knock together. As you'll notice in the picture, you can see the brass were the black paint has been chipped off.

Had to use to fit our shower, durabl, easy to assemble, looks great match’s the product, height was perfect and value of money accurate.

Was great to bridge the gap with the offset in faucet knob length as we have a old tub that the holes are not far enough apart on. Unfortunately our plumbing is 3/4 on the water connection end in so still had to put a hex bushing on and it doesn't sit flush against our tub holes, buy atleast it fits through them now. Nothing wrong with this product just that our plumbing is not the 1/2 inch.

This purchase was needed for installation of shower assembly in a clawfoot tub. However, the nuts and washers essential to mounting the adapters to the wall of the tub are not included. You either have to get them (at additional cost and time spent) from the seller or find them on your own (which I did. Less than an hour in a hardware store.) The adapters are solid and well-machined, but the deliberate lack of required installation items forces me to rate this at three stars. If they had been included, I would have rated it at five stars.
