Edit, after the review was left a full refund was offered. ***** The unit worked fine to start with, but within 3 weeks it now fails to recognise USB input and the dab no longer detects any stations and just sits there scanning.

This unit is painfully slow, it's pretty useless, sat nav takes an age to catch up to where you are. If you tether to your phone to use an online service such as Google maps then it doesn't even have the power to refresh quick enough to get a picture. Screen is very dull and not very responsive, radio RDS doesn't work very well, I could go on but I wont. Don't waste your money, spend it elsewhere.

This unit has been very good so far the only down side is it has no faceplate and limited fixing but apart from that it works well and the sound quality is good

1. It took a while to find the camera orientation settings. They are under car - allow both horizontal and vertical camera flip.2. You need to set some "reversing volume" in audio settings first. If don't do that, putting the car into reverse and shutting off the engine will keep the mute on (as per reversing factory defaults). If you end up in this state - using the paired phone restores the volume.3. The microphone jack does not agree with existing mikes from two very well known brand names who made the previous stereos in my cars. You need to use the built-in front panel mike.All in all - very nice android stereo. The few minor niggles are OK in this price range.

Good value for money, downside it can be quite glitchy at times, which was expected for the price. I will most likely upgrade this to a better model. It’s worth a try.

When fitted this item seems fine, but initially you realise the power button doesn't switch it off, it must have an ignition or switched feed for turning it off.I could deal with that, bought an on/off switch to wire in. But the more you use it the slower it gets until you reach the point where the buttons on screen don't achieve anything! It just locks up. So frustrating mid nav on a journey! As this takes a few weeks to have effect, it just happens to take you out of the 1-month return window for defective items! Amazon's customer Service Chat Bot doesn't let you get through to anyone!Amazon won't allow a return and I can't get hold of the supplier. £100 out of pocket. Thanks Amazon!Edit: amazon have now refunded me, stereo returned.Second edit: Hikity Europe have contacted me, apologised for the inconvenience and refunded me so I can get a replacement.Brilliant customer service from both parties, once you can actually speak to a person. There is a lot in this package and it lures you to buy this. This is a generic Chinese made unit branded by HiKity. The main problem is the screen. It has a low angle of view and not bright enough. Combine that with low contrast and a weird bleached out colour. Android auto worked a first, but a large section of the screen did not work. I factory reset it and the screen started to work but then android auto didn't. The DAB would drop in and out, when it came back it popped with sound like something had fallen on to the car . I sent it back

Fitted it in the van and was really happy, however a month and half later I'm very sadFrequently doesn't connect to Android auto, phone only shows connected to Bluetooth for phone - cannot get it to connect for audioUnit freezes and the volume and mute/power off, menu buttons dont workIf using Dab, it always comes on at full blast and then you can't turn volume down or turn off, had to pull the fuse to try and reset it.Had such high hopes as when it did work correctly it was ace:-(

Das Auto-Radio ist günstig, keine Frage. Und man darf keine Wunder erwarten. Es braucht halt eine Minute zum Starten, und der Anschluss kann ziemlich frickelig sein, dafür kostet es aber nur ~120€ statt 300€. Einbau in den Ford Focus Kombi MK1 Bj 2000 meiner Tochter hat mit Radio Adapter Kabel innerhalb wenige Minuten geklappt. Zwar ist das Radio etwas größer wie der Ford Konsolen Schacht, macht aber nichts, denn uns gefällt es so etwas rausstehend viel besser! (man muss sich ein wenig etwas für den Ford Focus basteln).Das Multimedia Radio erfüllt für den fairen günstigen Preis super seinen Zweck! Touchscreen funktioniert mit Apple Car Play (im Menü ganz rechts Car Play Verbindung auswählen, dann wir alles korrekt in groß angezeigt). Alles kann am Radio via Touch oder Knöpfe gut bedient werden.Das Menü lässt sich auch auf Deutsch einstellen, aber das Radio System ist fast selbsterklärend von der Menüstruktur aufgebaut. In wenigen Minuten weiss man es zu bedienen.
