PaintWorks Marvel Avengers Paint by Numbers for Adults and Kids

This is a great product. It took five weeks for me to complete, but my son loves it. Plenty paint cones with the kit to facilitate the entire picture.

This picture was fun to do at first, it got very annoying when you have to keep mixing the paints. Even more frustrating when you miss areas for the paint you just mixed but has now dried. The guide was easy to follow until it came to the small spaces, I gave up and just started painting whatever color I had.

Rich colors and fun to paint. You do need to mix colors like all their Dimensions/Paintworks PBN. Comes on a thick artist board. You do not need to stretch canvas or iron out folds. I love this brand and highly recommend. If you don’t like mixing colors, this might not be your best choice. The mix is roughly a 50/50 mix and I use paint containers saved from already completed kits. The paint mixture percentage is very forgiving and just estimate a drop or 2 from each paint color you need to mix. The brush provided is a decent quality brush that holds up well.

This was bought as a Christmas present for my 10 year old avengers fan. It is perfect for him. It is easy enough that he is able to work on it independently, but advanced enough that it isn’t babyish or cheesy. He’s very happy with how great it looks when he sets it up and takes a step back - it’s very cool! For the paint colors, there are some you use as they are, but there is a lot of paint mixing as well. This isn’t a project a kid can do in a day- it has kept my son busy and engaged for weeks. If you’re looking for a quick and easy project, this isn’t it. But if you’re looking for a high quality art project to keep a bigger kid busy for a while, this is perfect. As a side note- adult Avengers fans would also enjoy this if they like to paint.

The item was left on my doorstep and already open when I received it. I would have over looked that, but when I looked inside the instructions were missing. This type of paint kit requires mixing colors, so the instructions are necessary. I can’t do anything without them. I am returning and requesting a replacement.

I loved doing this pbn. My grandson is going to love it. The paints are excellent. You will need to mix some paints but it's easy and you end up with 36 colors. I thought it was challenging because there are a lot of straight lines and you need a steady have. I think this would be too hard for a kid to do unless they were very good and patient.
