This is THE correct tool for this job. Buy it.
DO NOT attempt to remove oxygen sensors with an open end wrench; you WILL round off the corners of the hex and then you're screwed. This is the correct tool; it is heavy, thick-walled high-quality steel with a notch for the wire to go through so you can remove and install the sensors without damage. Nearly all O2 sensors on modern vehicles are this size.To make it easier spray a bit of PB Blaster (yes, it will smoke) on the thread area where the sensor meets the boss before or after the Cat, start the engine and let it run for a couple minutes. The heat makes a BIG difference. Just be careful to not get up against the pipe or cat and burn yourself as obviously the exhaust will be nice and toasty after you do that. A 3/8" breaker bar is the correct thing to use with it and the offset notch means you can get in tight places and get the angle you need. You only need to break it free and then you can disconnect the wire and spin it right out.

Worked great with one minor modification
Got this to change out my O2 sensor that was really stuck. When I first tried it the socket wanted to spread apart and slip on the sensor. I took a band clamp and tightened it around the socket after placing it over the sensor. This keeps the the socket from spreading at the cut out. Overall great tool. Tekton makes quality stuff and a great price.

Worked great!! Even while using breaker bar
This socket is tough!! I was putting a lot of force on the O2 sensor trying to remove it. I was impressed that it held up and did not expand and round the O2. I ended up having to put heat on the O2 to and keep hard pressure on it to get it out.

Great tool
This made the upper O2 sensor replacement on a 2010 Chevy Cobalt SS into a 10-minute job. I used a 3/8 flex-head ratchet (Snap-on) and a short extension (Craftsman).

Fits well
I've used it a few times and I must say it's quite a handy tool to have in your arsenal whether you're a DIYer or mechanic

Makes R&R easy.
Worked perfectly to get at odd angles on Jeep O2 sensors. Inexpensive but well-made tool that eliminates headache.

Perfect Fit
This socket fit perfectly on the O2 sensor I had to replace and it was pretty accurate to the size not leaving much room for wiggling if there was even any at all. The drive square for the socket also fit perfectly into my ratchet making good contact. The offset provided by this style of socket worked great for my situation as there wasn't a lot of room to work with but this was able to tackle the task with no issue. Construction of this socket is very sturdy giving it enough heft to know its not too cheap but light enough to not be cumbersome. I noticed no deformation while applying force with the socket.Good product and worth my money.

Worked good for tight space
Worked good on 2010 Grand Caravan 3.8L upstream sensor. It's in a tight space and normal socket type o2 tool didn't have enough relief for the pigtail of the OEM sensor. This fit right in there for removal of sensor that had been in there for 15 years. Soaked sensor for several days alternating with Kroil and PB blaster while waiting on OEM sensor to arrive. Torqued to 30' and van is happy.
