Initial Product review - Wow!
I purchased the FAST helmet variant. I had to use a soft mallet to get these onto my paintball grade helmet so I know they are not falling off under any normal condition. Here are my first impressions and use cases:Use case: I cannot afford milspec gear of this type so they will have to do, however, with my first impressions, they'll be alright. So stuff like SHTF, range days with comrades, and larping in the woods!Overall: pretty darn good. least impressive so far are the connection from the units to the helmet.Battery compartments: Nothing to break as the lids are a friction fit and appear water proof.Ear Cushions: very good, they are the gel type you have to upgrade to with other ear pro.Sound quality: I like these better than my Walker Razor or whatever. I have more awareness of the direction of environmental sounds. Improvements could be made in reducing the radio input volume. I have to set my baofeng very very low. Almost identical to my 3M in the ears.Noise reduction: I have not taken this out shooting yet. When I do I will also include my 3M industrial in the ear active hearing protection which I have used a lot in industrial and gun range settings.Wires: The care put into the external wiring is really impressive.Mic: I cannot switch the mic to the other side without breaking something. I am not sure how I sound to others yet, more testing and use needed.First Range use and playing around with it update: Took these and my cheap helmet out to the range. 5.56, 9mm, 380, and 32 were the only rounds fired within my area. I was wearing my 3M in the ear-pro the whole time. for the last half I decided to LARP harder and put these on over. My hearing protection was significantly increased and my quality of hearing was not affected negatively, directionality, or any other quality. staying Five stars for now.

Beyond amazing for value
You get what you pay for. There is a reason these don't cost 800 dollars, but they're great. The radio sound quality is AMAZING so is the mic. Decently rugged. The sound canceling, ear pads, and snap in and out aspects leave a little to be desired buy like 4/5 not like 2/5. All around a good product. I wouldn't use these as my primary hearing protection but for every now and then they do an adequate job. When you combine them with glasses style eye pro it gets even worse on keeping a good seal around your ears.Despite all the critique over all for the price point these are unbeatable . I highly recommend.

BROKEN! DO NOT BUY!
A new, out of the box item emits a high-pitch buzz from right ear piece, when turned on. This shriek in dynamic is a recognizable flow of bad quality earpieces. It commonly results from bad wire soldering/ecranization inside the product.Bottom line - it is so flawed out of the box, that is unusable.

Coms for the deplorables
Got here fast. It works, fits my fast helmet. I will have to double up the ear pro. For a 120 clams I'm not impressed
