They are a bit soft and mealy and the flavor is at best diminished, perhaps even a little stale. A notice on the bag says use by March 2015, but probably should have said by March 2014, or even earlier. Always ordering such items on line is a bit of a crap shoot, but these were a disappointment. Cashews are high in calories. 100 g of nuts provide 553 calories. They are packed with soluble dietary fiber, vitamins, minerals and numerous health-promoting phyto-chemicals that help protect from diseases and cancers. Cashew nuts are very rich source of essential minerals. Minerals, especially manganese, potassium, copper, iron, magnesium, zinc and selenium are concentrated in these nuts. That's a full 1 1/2 cups missing. The cashews are mostly whole and seem fine. They taste a little bland. It came in a gallon size ziplock bag. It's not sealed off in any way. That didn't really matter to me. I personally won't be ordering again because I feel that I've been had because of the weight that was advertised and what I actually received.
