Like many of my reviews that revolve around personal tastes, I am going to attempt to be as objective as possible in order to leave the next person to make up their own mind as to whether the tastes meets their personal preferences or not. My order involved three different flavors of jerky, but they all shared the same commonality; all of the flavors ended with the taste of coconut on the palette. If you like the idea of lime, black pepper, or even teriaki before the coconut ending, you should give these snacks a try. They are all completely vegan and soy free just as the package suggests.Also, the texture of the jerky is conventional; there is a slight bit of toughness in each bite that is similar to that of actual meat. The coloring of the jerky looked like actual meat as well. The product itself was fresh and slightly moist. Next, I noticed that when I got a bite of the jerky in my mouth, that piece in particular would stick to my teeth. I would also have to deal with a slight over abundance of oil that I am guessing is naturally rendered from the coconut itself. The actual flavors tasted genuine, as in lime tasted like fresh lime, and the spices tasted like they were expected to. There was no chemical or artificial flavorings that I could detect. As a vegetarian that enjoys a multi dimensional flavored snack, I enjoyed this product. I originally purchased these from my local Whole Foods. When I tried to find them again, I had two employees tell me they never carried it. Whatever. I was happy to find them here and I really like this vegan (and paleo) jerky. I like the texture, the taste (I especially like the chili lime, but I like the original too. I haven't tried the Ginger Teriyaki yet, but doubt I'll dislike it. The texture is somewhat leathery and has a bit of a snap to them when you bite into it. It breaks down fairly quickly as you chew.I included a picture with a quarter for scale. The pieces vary in size, but that piece is fairly typical. ### ⭐ These taste like POOP EMOJI!!!!!!!! I have never met a spice that I didn't like, people are shocked by the things I put in my mouth and enjoy, but these taste like POOP EMOJI !!!! The worst part is that the seller won't accept a return. I get it, I opened it, I tried a piece, I can not return it, but $21.00 for something that tastes like death, or a chimpanzee's butt! Forget it! Sell Samples. Avoid this product like the plague. OH and here's the kicker, for $21.00 you get a bag that weighs about an ounce. I kid you not. I thought at least it would be a large sized bag that I could poison, oops I mean feed, my wild squirrels, but NO, it is a tiny little bag of this garbage flavored jerky. TRUST ME!!!! If you don't, you will wish that you did. This stuff is vile, and I eat Primal Strips, and people tell me whenever I eat them that they smell like dog food, well I kid you not, that dog food tastes better than this junk, and have fun picking it out of your teeth for 4 hours.
