Works Great and price is great tooI have had very large welders over the years but today I only need small a for my garage today and it works greatPhotos of welder and bench welded with the MIG 130After using this welder for few weeks I found to work GREAT for sizeThis would even work well in large shop weigh of machine and working on 120 voltsTips I have found using the MIG 130I found it works best with .030" [0.8 mm] wire The welder works good with .035'I found the best plug to use was my garage door opener pull and heavy cord 12GA.'Best setting I have found for Welding 030" [0.8 mm] wire is MAX 1 and speed at 4.5 this you can weld most of the day with out tripping the breaker.'The wire I found at Harbor Freight Note It uses E71T-GS [Home Depot on shelf only E71T-1 not the same wire I have not try this type ]Contact tips found at Harbor Freight. The only draw back is the shop/ garage may flip I a push to hard (120 volt 20 amp) I found this also true with millers welder running on 120 volt and others have noted that Forney 120 volt also flips the breaker.Last photo of Duty Cycle as CalcUpdate Aug 1 2017 still working greatnote: Table size is 32" [812mm] wide X 24" [610 mm] depth X 29" [737mm] Tall it is wheels but for heavy work I place on 4X4 Blocks under the frame see drawing below. So far, so good
I like it. New to welding. So, this pretty basic machine is working out well. Not much instructions come with it. So it's a bit of trial and error. Some of us learn better that way. It's a really good starter welder. Little heavy. Might want to find a cart to go with it. Seems to be a good product.

The wire that comes with it was great for sheet metal work
For 100 bucks shipped to my door? Worth every darn penny. The wire that comes with it was great for sheet metal work. My buddy borrowed it and put the cheap harbor freight 30 wire in it, and the thing just cranks out welds. She's no professional unit, but for the occasional user or home gamer, the thing is a champ. Having 4 heat settings and infinite wire speed control is the reason i tried this one instead of slightly more expensive home gamer brands like it. I made a good decision. The wire is always live. Be careful where you lay down your gun. For 99 bucks, it's really not a big deal. I'm not a beginner. I just needed a cheap toy for home projects. Was expecting cheap garbage that didn't work, but was pleasently surprised by the welds a $99 machine can lay down. If you are a beginner, don't kid yourself. Buy a cheap mask too, because the face shield thing it comes with makes a better shovel than it does a welding shield.I'd say if you want a machine to use a few times a year under 400 bucks, choose this one over any of the others. If you wanna do any kind of production work or use it daily, do yourself a favor and spend some actual cash on an actual name brand though.

Great for beginners like me, or those with simple needs
This thing is great for flux core steel. I am a beginner welder, and I didn't want to spend a ton of money on a welder right out of the gate. It's wonderful to be able to weld steel for so little money, and on a regular 110 volt circuit. I had literally never welded before I bought this machine. I have now crafted several projects with this, and with a minimal of practice really feel like I have dialed it in to get some pretty nice-looking and strong welds. Keep in mind that flux core welding will never yield the much-desired "stacked dimes" look, so if you are hung up on such things then you'd best look for a welder that allows gas shielding. But if you are happy with less attractive welds (by the commonly accepted definition), I highly recommend this welder. The included mask and brush/hammer tool are pretty worthless. It's nice that they include them, and the mask would be good for observers or helpers, but you'd really better get a mask or helmet that can mount to your head to work with. Holding the handle of the mask while welding would really be a pain. And the hammer/brush combo doesn't feel very durable, nor does it have enough weight to really be very adequate. I am not reducing stars on my rating for these things, because these are really just bonus items.

Poor quality/no customer support for parts
The media could not be loaded. Do not waste your money!! I bought this unit for the same reason your probably looking at it for, because it’s cheap! We’ve all heard the saying, “you get what you pay for” this is a prime example. I bought one for me and my dad just to have for small little projects around the house, neither one of us use it very much at all. Welded through one 1lb spool of wire and before I could finish my second spool it stops feeding wire. My dads welder just stopped feeding the wire as well, and he’s been able to used only about half of the spool of wire that comes with the unit. Extremely poor quality, and there are no aftermarket parts available anywhere online for this unit. After quite a bit of research, and a phone call to the manufacturer, a company called goplus, I was informed that I could only submit a claim via email. I send the an email explaining issues, and that I’m will to pay for whatever replacement parts are needed if it’s no longer under warranty. They replied back requesting all kinds of information from me, including order number, order date, order address, and even the tracking number. After providing everything they asked for, they replied again saying, “unfortunately we can’t replace the part you need, I hope you understand, have a great day.” That was it! After 5 days of back and forth, (cause they took a day or two to respond between each reply), and making me jump through hoops, just to send that short cut throat response. I’ve also uploaded the same exact video I sent the manufacturer showing my issues. Do yourself a favor and get a trusted brand with a warranty, that will last, and that actually has a customer support team that can actually solve problems.
