Parker Urban Ballpoint Pen, London Cab Black with Medium Point Black Ink Refill (1975421)

A typical well made pen by Parker. Sorry they are made in Mexico because it was always a quality American pen! It is a beautiful pen for the price.

Of all my many pens, this one has become my top 5 favorites! Beautiful turquoise-like color, nice feel, ergonomic/ comfortable to hold and well balanced. It also takes the Parker gel refills, which is a major plus for me.

I want to start by saying that I love pens--Parker pens particularly. I have been writing with them and collecting them since grammar school. I use a Parker pen everyday at work and for my graduate school studies. (I rotate through my vast collection. It's so hard to choose a favorite.)With that background out of the way, let me say that I like this Urban pen. I like the vibrant violet color especially (purple is my favorite color). The pen is balanced well. It looks professional at meetings. I use this pen quite a lot.Why did I not give it 5 stars? I only gave it 4 stars because the new Urban pens are not as weighty as the old Urban line. The Urban line of Parker pens used to feel more substantial, higher quality. I remember getting a Parker Urban pen around 2010 and it felt better in the hand than this one.Like I said, it's pretty well-balanced--however it feels just a tad too light in the hand to me. If it were weightier, I'd give it 5 stars.Do I like it? Yes.Would I buy it again? I have two. The vibrant violet color is outstanding.

Very nice pen. I purchased this and the Parker IM premium ballpoint pen and think I like this pen slightly more. I really like the way the pen sits in my hand when I write. It is incredibly comfortable to hold and makes me feel like my handwriting is better than it normally is as I am not fighting with my pen in order to write. The pen feels like a good quality pen and I would not hesitate to give this pen as a gift. The quink ink that it comes with is very smooth and a pleasure to write with, albeit not as smooth as Jetstream or Fisher Space Pen ink. I reach for this pen more often than the Parker IM as although the IM feels like a more costly pen, it is slightly heavier and for longer periods of writing I prefer the Urban. Both pens come with the same type of ink. I am very happy to recommend the Parker Urban.

I like pens. And after getting a good set of Parker pens from Costco for my office, I wanted to get another one to general carry. I got this on sale for 16$ and I'm disappointed. It's plastic at the tip, it came with blue ink (not black like in the description), and the clicking mechanism feels and sounds like a cheap pen. I have had cheaper pens with better quality in my opinion. They look like they are back up to 35$. You can get better deals on some better quality Parker pens if you look around and do some research. This is not really the quality I expected for the pen. If you want an edc pen look at the Fisher space pens. Otherwise you'll need to look at the better Parker series, because honestly this was disappointing. I'll give it three stars because that Parker ink writes so well. I wish I could give it 2.75 stars though

The grip on this is fine. Writing though is exceptionable. Pen just flows across paper as if it doesn't even touch paper. Well worth the price. I compare it to a cross pen I use and every time I ask myself why did I even get the cross.

I love Parker pens and this one did not disappoint!

This model is now discontinued and is much cheaper than originally. I now own 6 in different colours because they are the most comfortable pen I have ever found. The flared end, rather than the more usual taper, suits my hand much better than any other pen, without being too bulky. The plastic tip is very smooth, models with metal tips are slightly rough. They take any Parker ballpoint or Gel refill and make writing a pleasure.

Case a lovely colour, reasonably priced

It has some weight, it has a terrific feel and looks great. It's my favourite pen!
