It's a fun Rubik's. There's really only one algo to learn and it's very simple.Though it is funny that somehow it feels like a workout because the R turns are all R2.

OK, so when I got this I was thinking it was going to be a lot simpler than it was. I figured it would be a little harder than a 2x2x2 cube, and that my 3x3x3 cube skills would carry over. Well, that wasn't the case. The oblong shape adds some kinks to the mix.In case you're wondering how the pieces move, rotations on the short ends are normal 90 or 180 degree rotations, but the 2x3 slabs rotate 180 degrees only. From that perspective, there's less to worry about, but from a solving perspective, this rules out a lot of familiar moves. I won't spoil it for you, but I encourage you to try to figure this one out on your own without hitting the videos and tutorials.As for the cube quality, it's faily basic. The colors are inset rather than stickers, which is good. There are also screws which look like they're probably for adjusting the tension, but I left mine the way they came. The motion is fairly smooth, but a little bit of lubrication would help (just make sure it's safe on plastic). There aren't any magnets to help them "click" into place, but it's not really needed.I found this to be a good way to engage my brain and relax at the same time. It fits really well in a pocket, so you can carry it around more easily than the traditional cubes.

My kids love cubes , this was a unique shape but pretty sure it’s easy to solve for them and the ends of the pieces kept popping off (although they just snap right back on)

I guess twisty puzzle is the more appropriate name for this since it's not technically a cube, but it's pretty fun. The price is great, and it's pretty nice quality. I wouldn't say it comes set up as a speed cube right out of the box, but it turns very well and does not lock up. Some puzzles are such a pain and require such an effort to line up properly and turn that they are not even fun to use, but this one is pretty effortless, and it does have adjustment screws so you could loosen the tension and lubricate it as well. I don't know if there are actually tension springs or if you'd be decreasing friction by loosening the screws, but for my purposes it's fine as it is. The matte finish looks nice and consistent and it feels good. The colors are pretty standard in shade and configuration, and sometimes I have an issue in low light conditions between the yellow and white, but this one is not bad. It's a great addition to my growing collection, thank you very much.

I want to start by saying I am a relatively experienced with these sort of puzzles. However, literally the first turn out of the box, the cube locked up and it popped. No big deal, it happens. I took it apart and put it back together and tried turning it again. It turned fine one way, but then when I flipped it another way. It locked up again. This time it didn't pop. However, I can't turn it in that direction specific direction at all without locking up. Most likely refunding it. Not happy with this at all

This 2x3x2 cube is pretty good quality for this price point. I am a collector of many different puzzle cubes in various shapes, sizes, and price points. This is the first of this shape I have though. First, the box is nice and comes with picture directions, so I say very giftable. The puzzle itself is non-stickered, my personal preference. The colors are bright and vibrant. The individual pieces do not seem to have any gapped seams (if you know, you know). The movement is smooth, but not magnetic. The solve on this puzzle is fairly easy with minimal algorithmic know how needed, so it's ideal for a beginner. I recommend this puzzle.
