School Smart Traditional No 2 Pencils, Assorted Colors, Pack of 144

I bought these for my kids to give away with their valentine's instead of candy. They are good quality pencils that write and sharpen well. The eraser is good, it's not too soft but is almost too firm but not so firm that it rips or wears the paper. I do worry that if the eraser sits too long it might get too hard but only time will tell. The only real downside to the pencils, is the yellow and orange are a bit close to the normal boring school pencil. I got these to be kind of fun and the yellow and orange are a bit too close to normal.

While most of the pencils in the box were perfectly normal, a few would not sharpen properly. They were completely chewed up by my electric sharpener, and when I tried to use a handheld sharpener they would just continually break. It seemed to mostly affect the yellow ones, which sounds crazy and might have been a coincidence, but by the end almost half the yellow pencils had to be sharpened just enough that a student could use it in a pinch.

Perfect for school! I have 5 tables, each with a color name, and now my students have pencils to match their table name. I've even worked in an incentive accountability piece to keep students from losing so many pencils.These are high quality and don't break like the cheap dollar store or bargain store does. I highly recommend these for classroom use!

The product arrived quickly but the box was warn and I nearly had a major spill because the bottom of and the top where really loose. The yellow pencil looks like any average pencil... and actually for the most part all the colors are darker than they seemed in the photo... I was disapointed.

Purchased for my daughter's first grade teacher as a gift for the class. The kids were excited and said it felt like "Christmas". Sure thing kiddos, glad you liked them. I have not heard any complaints from the class.

These pencils are great for my daughter. And to get 144 in one box for a very cheap price is a good thing. When the teachers tell me that I need to send extra pencils to school with my daughter, I send the whole box. I'd get them again. In fact, I already have.

Whenever I loan out these pencils, I usually don't get them back. I' m assuming the students like them.

Yellow pencils are everywhere, so I wish they weren't here.
