Newborn Puppy Flat Chest Kit, Whelping Essential, Sizes 0-5

Wow wow WOWWWW is all I can say!! I received my package Friday evening and put my 11 day old pup in a cast that night. She measured size 2 but 3 ended up being a better fit. Her chest was flatttttt as a pancake and her breathing was labored, but she was still nursing pretty well. By noon Saturday her breathing was completely back to normal. It’s now Sunday afternoon and I just took the cast off for the first time. Her chest has rounded significantly in less than 48hrs. This is truly a life saver, thank you for this amazing product!

I had a puppy that had a flat chest and I had no idea what a flat chest in puppies was. I had never seen it before, and I had no idea how to treat it. When I saw this kit and watched the accompanying video from Frenchie Exotics on YouTube, I immediately bought the kit. The puppy I put this on was 4 weeks old and I was afraid it was too late to make any changes. Within three or four days I was BLOWN AWAY. The chest that had been as flat as a pancake had already begun to be almost perfectly rounded as it should be. After a week the puppy's chest felt normal, his breathing was normal, and his lungs were no longer straining from a flat chest cavity. I am 100% sure that this kit saved my puppy's life. I cannot thank Frenchie Exotics enough for creating a kit like this and for also creating the YouTube tutorial to show us how to use it as well. The media could not be loaded. This product is not only amazing, it literally saved my puppy’s life! Had a litter of frenchies and started to notice one of them struggling to breathe at around 10 days. When she stopped latching on me, I took her to my vet. They said she had aspiration pneumonia and gave her some Clavamox. When I started administering the antibiotics, she started latching again but she was still struggling, so I started to do some research. Long story short, baby Hope had flat chest and needed a little help. I wasn’t sure what size to get, but this set comes with 5 sizes and she was able to use the largest 2. If you have a bigger puppy, you will want to order the extended sizes direct from the manufacturer website. I started Hope on the prosthetic at 20 days old and she weighed 25.5 ounces. The kit comes with a link to a YouTube video that shows you how to put it on, but the people who created this product are also nice enough to include their phone number in case you have any questions or issues. I was unsure about the fit when I first put mine on Hope so I called them around 7 pm EST and they answered and told me how to tell if it fits right and when to go up another size, which made me feel so comforted because I didn’t have to worry or question myself throughout the process. Within a couple of days, Hope took off! She started to eat well again, she stopped having trouble breathing, she even walked around better than the other pups. It was a great support for her as her little bones developed. If I didn’t find this product, I have no doubt that I would’ve lost her. I’ve included pics of her when she was wearing the prosthetic and videos of her at 8 weeks. As you can see, she never quite caught up with the other pups on size, since she missed those crucial early days of growth when she stopped latching, but she is perfect to me. She’s small but mighty and she keeps up with the best of them. If you have a puppy struggling to breathe, look no further. This is your answer.

The media could not be loaded. We have a litter of golden retriever puppies that are all adorable, but two of them were born with a couple fairly rare conditions. They both had “flat chest“ and “swimmer syndrome“.We took them to our vet and he felt their condition was so severe that even Orthopedic surgery might not enable them to eventually walk normally. Plus, it would also cost thousands of dollars.We found Frenchi Exotics while searching the Internet. We ordered the zero through eight sizes, and started with the fifth size with each of them. It has been less than three weeks, And they are already standing up walking and even running around like little champs! It is almost beyond our belief how extraordinarily well the Frenchi flat chest kit has worked, we also found a chiropractor for dogs that gave us a bunch of regular exercises that we did with the two puppies six times each day. I am incredibly grateful Frenchi Exotics and to our wonderful Cairo vet, Dr Kimberly Hunt. This has been such an extraordinary encouragement!

This brace was specifically recommended to us by our Veterinarian to correct our flat chested pups. We bought these for our 2 surviving newborn pups that were flat chested. I suggest having these prior to your litter being born as a preventative, than a reactive situation. If we had them sooner, it might have saved one of our pups (passed away, shortly after the vet visit).I am very grateful for this contraption and we noticed a visible change within days of using them. Keep in mind there needs to be padding in between the plastic cuff and the pup. We just cut down puppy pee pads and taped them to the inside. Not sure what other people use. There seems to be a big jump from size 4 to 5. But overall very happy with this invention!
