Hatch Rest+ RIOT

I have a toddler who has never been a good sleeper, and when I say we have tried just about every other sound and light machine on the market I am not exaggerating. This has helped us SO much, the fact that I can hear her start to get fussy in the middle of the night and can turn on a story or song from my phone is a game changer. I love that you can program different sounds and colors for different times of the day, like morning, winding down for bed, etc. I’m only upset that we didn’t try this sooner…

Bought this for baby’s room so you don’t need to turn on light and it has 8 hour backup lighting f power goes out.

We started using a battery powered white noise machine when traveling or staying with family to help baby sleep as baby is used to a quiet sleep environment. We then purchased Hatch as we were going through batteries fast! Baby started sleeping through the night once we started using Hatch! I’m talking from 10pm to nearly 8am! It’s got nice feature to adjust settings from phone app however I didn’t like that I couldn’t schedule sounds for more than an hour. The sounds play as long as you like when turned on manually, but it’d be nice to not have to turn them on at all.

I've had pretty much every hatch and I don't think I'm seeing what's that different about this one. I'm confused by the addition of the base it doesn't actually need to run. That said, this works great like all Hatch machines. I also used it wirelessly at a theme park to get a stroller nap in.

The Good:- Multiple colors to set and cycle- Relatively cheap subscription to a massive library including dryer and heartbeat (a god send) and spoken books and stories- can take off base and move it around (battery life appears decent, haven’t had it off the base long)The So-So (not bad just annoying)- Can be funky every now and then connecting when you go into the app to turn it on or choose something new after awhile. Need to close app and restart or power off the Hatch device. Gets very annoying.
