Pair with an anti-static brush and a microfiber towel, you'll have all you need to keep your records clean and shiny. Don't apply pressure with the pad or anti-static brush. Let the records do all the work and you just lightly hold the tools in place. Use the microfiber towel first, the felt or velvet pad next, and then the anti static brush last. You use the felt pad and anti-static brush as the record is playing, you set the tools on top lightly, if its distorting the sound youre putting too much pressure. Do this on both sides. The little brush is to clean the felt pad. The stylus gel is awesome too! Dunk your stylus once or twice its clean. Do this before playing your record. Doesn't require you to use the gel more than once per record as one time should be sufficient. Great value for everything you get! And this will not scratch your records as you are only supposed to holds these tools in place and not brush anything. If you're brushing, you're doing it wrong. Each item is built very well and the design is great, comfortable to use and nothing feels like it will break anytime soon. I highly recommend this kit to anyone that needs a cheap but reliable way to clean their things! I would recommend this kit over the other one too.
