Glue-on velcro doesn't stay attached. The back piece that holds the phone got bent up pretty quickly, and this alters the focus. Lenses scratch super easy from wiping with the attached cloth. Head strap came undone a bunch of times, causing the box to fall and further bend out of shape. No amount of padding would make it comfortable to keep on your nose without holding it up by hand, which you might as well do rather than trust the strap.There's no QR code, although the default QR code for Google cardboard seems to work fine. (If you get double vision in some apps, make sure your resolution is set to default or highest possible, not to low res like power saving mode would have you do; alternative solutions include flipping your phone upside down, or finding a different QR code for the viewer---neither of which had helped me.)Keep in mind that the picture you'll see inside will be pixelated like an old TV. This isn't the headset's fault, but rather the device limitation.Having said all that, I'm glad I got it on the cheap. Now here are the good points and bad ones. Note: I used this with the S7 Edge.GOOD-Cheap entry level VR set-Good packaging, sturdy box constructionBAD-Cheap foam padding, cheaper glue to hold it in place.-No focal adjustment-No eye width adjustment-Lots of openings around the box to let light in ( I know, everyone's face is different, hard to accommodate)-Lenses came dirty, like they had adhesive one them (pain to get off)-Straps have the same weak glue, hard to keep it centered and pitched on your face.For my S7-Every time I closed the lid it hit the home button-The action button (basically a piece of card board to tap the screen) did not contact mine.I knew what I was getting into. I wanted a cheap box to see what the VR thing was all about, and this lets your do it on the cheap. It's not remotely comfortable, it's not nearly the full VR experience. However it wasn't designed to be. But the dirt cheap cost is well worth it if you wanna dip your toes in VR. DON'T use it to judge VR as a platform and instead view it as a tiny piece of the VR tech that's out there!I've been planning on buying a PC run VR headset but first I wanted to know a little about what it's like and quench a little bit of my VR thirst while waiting for some new headsets to release. Best $8 I'll ever spend! Google started making these in 2014 and Samtung here have made a headset that costs less than the Google ones and even add a headstrap. Again, not at all comfortable but hey, if your only spending $8 and getting a taste of VR, comfort shouldn't be on your mind.
