Not sure why everyone is whining on here. For the money, it’s a good product. Replaced the old one within 10 mins. Fit perfect. It just needs to cover the engine and it does just that. Mine is an X300.

Not sure why a quality manufacturer like John Deere would go CHEAP and use a junk plastic hood that is very prone to premature failure, but this is an expensive, satisfactory replacement. Just would prefer a metal hood like other companies use.

Low quality part. Many areas shows material shrinkage that appears as dents. Can’t recommend this part or vendor.

Fit perfectly on my 2010 John Deere X300. Fit very well. Very tight fitting. Took a little bit to get the insides in place and screwed together but once it was it looks very nice. Made my lawn tractor look new again. Just need a new seat now. I hope the plastic is better than the original John Deere that cracked from me opening the hood. Only time will tell how good the plastic is.

Had something fall on the JD x320 and smash the hood pretty good. After looking at the dealer prices and not being able to find anything used I decided on this unit. Overall it fit... the front area where the JD bumper panel snaps in could use some better refinement in the molds and one tab was broken off. I used some plastic epoxy putty ans self tapping screws on the backside of it to secure it to the hood. Everything else fit good but the finish is not slick and shiny like the old Deere version but rather more of an eggshell finish. Overall it's close but no Deere, but certainly cheaper than the Deer too.

This worked as planned on my mower.

Makes tractor look brand new again. This was a blessing after husband hit a tree.
