A: I don't know why not.  I don't think its going to melt.   I thought it was going to be much softer than it is.  It's very firm....just thought I'd add that.

**Q: Is this safe to use, with its strap, in a car that has seat deployed air bags**
A: I never used mine in the car yet just on my chair.  I think you wouldn't have to use the strap in your car if you didn't want to. Pillow shoul stay in position once your sitting.

Before I got this one, I tried few other popular lumbar supports on Amazon, nothing worked for me. Other lumbar pillows were all uncomfortable for it was too soft to support my back. This one is amazing, but if you are looking for something that is soft and comfortable, don't get this one. This is very firm and supportive. It feels like it also corrects my posture. I will give it a 5 star!
