This thing is way cooler than i expected
We didnt get this for youtube, or Tik Tok. I got this because my wife does her nails and wants a light on the desk, no joke. It works perfect with a battery box nearby. So we set it up, and she used it. So me being the typical husband with lights and buttons, I started pressing buttons. Well low and behold this thing started partying! After it gets past the RGB colors, it starts spinning other colors! Different patterns, and tons of options! So naturally I apologized to her because now during the holidays this ring light is going to start going in my halloween and christmas displays. Sorry honey.

Great budget ring light
In a world filled with lights that run upwards of $100-200, finding something functional that won't break the bank can be an adventure. This isn't going to win any awards, nor is it anywhere near the best light you can find out there, but for around $20, it not only serves the purpose I need, it does so surprisingly well. The light is cheap. Make no mistake about that. Everything about it feels and screams budget, but if you aren't going to move it around a lot, well, that's okay. I didn't need this light to be the best quality, I just needed it to provide another source of light, particularly for when I'm using my camera to just talk to chat during streams. The light is meant to plugged into a USB power source, so keep that in mind. It does not come with an AC adapter at all.At its core, it comes with a small desk tripod and a phone mount. I've opted to not use either, and instead having it on an Elgato Multi mount, which gives it much more flexibility on my desk. I have it positioned directly in front of my Panasonic G7, right above my monitor to the left of my main display. This puts it at a really great spot for shining directly on me when I want that kind of lighting. It has a couple of different white light modes, plus several RGB modes, including solid colors and multiple color effects. The lighting is far more robust than I expected, and while it feels kind of gimmicky, it's nice to know that the light is capable of that.Is it as good as Elgato's Ring Light? No. That light is far more versatile as a direct light source, but this light will do a decent job for the price you pay. It isn't as big, but again, I didn't need it to be that big. For someone who wants/needs a larger light, you'll want to look elsewhere. Same if you desire wireless control. This just has a simple dongle attached to the main wire that allows you to power it on, change from RGB to white light, and adjust the brightness. Again, a cheap option, but it works and hasn't given me any issues to this point. If you're just looking for a basic light with some pretty basic functionality, this light will get the job done. If you need/want a more feature-rich experience, you should probably look elsewhere. For my purposes, this is more than enough.

Could be great
The light works great, it's bright and you can switch between brightnesses, colors, warmth, and more. However, after being plugged in and on for more than 10 minutes, it shuts off and won't come back on. And if it doesn't shut off, it just won't come back on after I turn it off, even the blue indicator light on the controller turns off. It kind of shorts out. This would be ok, if the phone holder attachment wasn't so badly designed that the phone is too heavy and topples the whole thing over or skews the light's angle. Besides that, the light loosens up and keeps falling. I had to take it apart and put it back together for it to grip again for a few minutes, then it started slipping all over the place, and with the weight of the phone, forget it. The light kept aiming down and it kept falling over.To make it worse, the way the pole "locks" is weak and any little touch, it will fall and shorten back down.Cheap, but I guess you get what you paid for...

Very Useful
i do a lot of makeup tutorials on youtube so i used this item almost every day and so far it's working great. The quality of the item is very good, it has so many features and it's easy to use. The ring light features 3 normal lighting modes with a wide variety of intensity so you can find the one that fits you perfectly. I also like the fact that i can take photos and videos freely with the remote control. The tripod is very strong and can be adjusted to any height,i usually put it on top of my vanity table to do my makeup tutorials and sometimes i used it as a selfie stick to take photos. I'm going to buy another one just in case because this product is amazing.
